Trail Clean up day July 19th

The Cuyuna Iron Range Riders had our first trail cleanup day on Saturday July 19th. 26 people came. Several of the guys brought small yard trailers to haul the trash out of the trail area. We hauled 76 tires, 3 TV’s, 2 mattress, beer can, beer bottles, food rappers, carpeting, construction junk, wood, oil bottles, lawn chairs, kitchen sink, hood vent, vinyl siding, computer, vcr, a shower, and paper trash. We made two trips to the Crow Wing County land fill. There is still more trash and junk out there. We had a trail side lunch for all the volunteers. I want to thank Lori Kortum and Deb Mathison for preparing the food and paying for all of it. A BIG THANK YOU to all the people that volunteered. Cuyuna Iron Range Riders you’re the best.
