Hello Club Members,
We will not be having a club meeting in November or December. Please enjoy the holidays with your families, and we’ll see you in January!
Hello Club members,
Our club meeting and ride is Saturday October 11th at 9am at the Ironton Legion, 232 4th street. We are riding the Moose River Trails near Outing. This is our last club ride for the season, let’s make it good one. We are parking at the Village Inn in Outing and we will stop there after the ride to eat.
It has been a great year for our club. Here is a few highlights:
We received grant in aid approval from the DNR in May. Our club received the Yamaha grant. Russ, Larry, Brain, Bob, Richard and Jake put our first trail post in the ground at section 6 mine pit lake. Larry Hammill and Dale Carry built the first kiosk and put it up at section six mine pit lake. We celebrated our club’s 10 year anniversary in July and held our first trail cleanup day. We received a great mention in the Crosby Courier and heard many nice comments. Sue Bickford and Karen Koetter got 26 businesses to join our club and Tom Simson got Westside Recreation to join. Many others came out to mow, cut up downed trees, clean trails and put up trail posts and signs. A lot of the trail work has been done. A BIG thanks to everyone for helping and being part of the club. We could not have done this without you. Please remember to support those businesses that joined our club.
