Club members we rode the Lawler loops in Aitkin County. We rode about 50 miles and stop at the Jackson Hole to eat afterwards. It’s good trail area and there was a lot of water holes. The ride was great and there was no dust. Ken Irish president

Hello club members,
Our club meeting and ride is this coming Saturday at 9am at the Ironton Legion. We are riding the Lawler Loops in Aitkin. We will stop at the Jackson Hole restaurant after to eat.
Our Miller Black Bear trails are open again. A great big thanks to our volunteers Larry Moses, Dale Carry, Larry Hammill, Tom & Austin Simon, Jerry & Alicia Heggerston, Frank & Sue Bickford, Bob Bodine and Brian Mathison. These members worked a lot of hours to get these trails open.
Cub Foods in Brainerd is our newest business member. Thanks, Sue Bickford for contacting them.
Russ contacted the Brainerd Lakes Chamber and Brainerd Lakes Vacation Land about getting ATV trail information added to their websites. Both sites now have the five ATV trails in Crow Wing County listed on their sites with links to the DNR site. The trail links are Miller Black Bear, Pine Center, Fort Ripley Trail & Ripley Connection and the Emily/Outing trail. Great job Russel!

Last month we had our annual picnic and ride at the Miller Black Bear trails. 37 people came out to ride. It was a great time! Alicia Heggerston brought the best rhubarb cake I have ever had.
Next month, we are going to celebrate our Miller Black Bear grand opening on September 12th, 11am at the main trailhead by section six mine pit lake. There will be trail side lunch and guided rides. Invite all your family and friends. It’s going to be a big party. I have attached a flier you can print and post in your area.
