Our Club elections are in May for President, Secretary and Board members one & two. We are accepting nominations for these positions. Also, our Club membership dues are due in May. Hi Everyone,
Our Club meeting is March 9th, 10 am at the Ironton Legion, 232 4th Street. This is also our membership appreciation lunch. Our Club is buying lunch for our members, this is our way of thanking you for all the volunteer work and just for being our member. If this nice weather keeps up, we will likely get out early to start working on the new Miller Black Bear trail expansion. I attended the ATV Minnesota Legislative reception on February 28th, several ATV Clubs from across our state were there along with many of our Elected Representatives. I posted pictures on our Club Facebook page. At last month’s meeting we presented the new Bylaws to the members, and they were emailed out to everyone. If you did not get a copy, please email cirratvclub@gmail.com for a copy and we will vote on them at this meeting. At our last board meeting we discussed raising our membership dues, our Club has remained at $15.00 for individuals and $20.00 for a family since the Club was formed in 2004. We feel it is time to increase our dues. Our ride committee has planned a fun ride schedule for the new season. Our Club elections are coming up in May for President, Secretary and Board members 1 & 2. There are two lunch specials for you to choose from a taco bar or burger bar. There is also a kid’s menu available. Jenny has made a video slideshow of our rides and fun times from last year.

Hi Everyone,

It’s that time again, let’s get our Club meetings going and make plans for the New Year. Our first meeting will be at 10 am, Saturday, Feb. 10th, Ironton Legion, 232 4th St.

Our Club sent everyone a trail riding survey last month with places you like to ride. We will look at the choices and make a ride schedule. If you have not taken the survey, please click on the link https://s.surveyplanet.com/vl67npi6 and complete the survey before Saturday.

Our Club participated in the Brainerd Jaycees Ice Fishing Extravaganza. Thank you to all the volunteers that came to help. There are pictures on our Club Facebook page.

Andrew, Russ & I attended ATV Minnesota’s Legislative Summit on January 13th. Several clubs from across our state were present as well. There was a good discussion on trail funding, machine weight and trail size. We prioritized our concerns and gave our legislative team direction for the upcoming session starting this month.

Our Board members have updated our Club Bylaws; we have been adding new language for the function of our Club and Committee responsibilities.

Last fall our Club started the Miller Black Bear trail expansion. The trail committee has gotten a good start on the work, and they hired Holmvig Excavating to help finish some of the trail work this winter. When the trail work is completed there will be 12 new miles of trails added.

You may have seen our post about the JC Fishing Contest on February 3rd. We are still in need of volunteers using your ATV for the outside perimeter security. It’s from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm. We have a few names, but want to offer one more opportunity for people to jump in. If you are interested in volunteering, please respond to cirratvclub@gmail.com by January 24th. Thank you!

We are not going to have a Club meeting in January. ATV Minnesota is having their Legislative Summit on Saturday, January 13th, at the Hinckley Community Center and several Club members will be attending.

We will have our first Club meeting on Saturday, February 10th, we will make plans for the New Year. The Board updated our Bylaws, which will be presented to the Club at our February meeting.

The Brainerd Lakes Jaycee Ice Fishing Contest is coming up February 3, 2024.  They are asking for volunteers to help out with security.  Our Club will receive $100.00 for each active paid member that volunteers to help; you must attend from start to finish.  Volunteers ride their ATV’s around the perimeter of the fishing area and watch as people are coming into the area.  A fun event to get your ATV out in the winter time!  Please respond to cirratvclub@gmail.com if you are interested in volunteering, more details will be provided closer to the date of the ice fishing contest.
