Trail work this Saturday, April 17th

Hi Everyone,
Andy needs your help this Saturday, he wants to work on the Mississippi River Northwoods trails. Meet at the Mississippi River Northwoods parking lot at 9 am. This is only for light duty work. Please don’t bring any heavy equipment, the trails are still wet and soft. Bring a chain saw, tree trimmers and small trash bags, you will ride the trails and remove any blow downed trees, trim off low hanging branches and pick up trash. Keep track of your miles on your truck and 4 wheeler, they are reimbursable expenses. Also keep track of your hours. Russ will submit all this to the DNR for reimbursement. I will not be able to make it up, I’m working this weekend. If you have any questions or need directions please contact Andy 612-669-6317. Here is link to the trail map www.dnr.state.mn.us/ohv/trail_detail.html?id=97
From Ironton it is about 5 miles west of town on highway 210. You will turn right by the large green Mississippi Northwoods sign and follow the dirt road in. From the Brainerd Regional Airport, take Highway 210 east approximately three miles. Turn left and follow the entrance road north for ½ mile to the trailhead/parking area.
I wish I could be there, have good time.
