Hi Everyone,

It’s that time again, let’s get our Club meetings going and make plans for the New Year. Our first meeting will be at 10 am, Saturday, Feb. 10th, Ironton Legion, 232 4th St.

Our Club sent everyone a trail riding survey last month with places you like to ride. We will look at the choices and make a ride schedule. If you have not taken the survey, please click on the link https://s.surveyplanet.com/vl67npi6 and complete the survey before Saturday.

Our Club participated in the Brainerd Jaycees Ice Fishing Extravaganza. Thank you to all the volunteers that came to help. There are pictures on our Club Facebook page.

Andrew, Russ & I attended ATV Minnesota’s Legislative Summit on January 13th. Several clubs from across our state were present as well. There was a good discussion on trail funding, machine weight and trail size. We prioritized our concerns and gave our legislative team direction for the upcoming session starting this month.

Our Board members have updated our Club Bylaws; we have been adding new language for the function of our Club and Committee responsibilities.

Last fall our Club started the Miller Black Bear trail expansion. The trail committee has gotten a good start on the work, and they hired Holmvig Excavating to help finish some of the trail work this winter. When the trail work is completed there will be 12 new miles of trails added.
