Hi Everyone,
Our next club meeting is this coming Saturday at 9 a.m., at the Ironton Legion, 232 4th Street. We will be riding trails in the Fond Du Lac State Forest near Cromwell, MN. This is Russell and Mark’s hometown area. Our club rode there three years ago they are nice scenic trails. Bring some sandwiches, snacks and beverages for the ride. There are not any restaurants in Cromwell.
Last month we had our Explore MN ride with Over the Hills Gang ATV Club. There were 52 people and 38 machines on the ride everyone had a good time. OTHG brought sandwiches and chips for everyone, our club brought pop and bottled water. You can see lots pictures on our club Facebook page.
In other good news, Sue Sasse is our new Club secretary. Sarah Phillips had been it for many years. Thank you Sue for accepting the position and thank you Sarah for all those years.
Please welcome our new club members Mark Walters and Jim & Pat Dearing.
Dale Carry and David Wille have been out working on trails in the Mississippi River Northwoods area. Great job guys!
Crow Wing County Commissioners are discussing a shooting range proposal off of Iverson Road, it is an 84 acre parcel that boarders Iverson Road. It is not far from the Miller – Black Bear Trails. There are currently some trails in this area, if this is approved it will affect our riding area. There have been articles in the Crosby newspaper.
